Thor Demolition was proudly engaged to undertake the full structural demolition of the existing clubhouse and function rooms at the iconic Pacific Golf Club. This significant demolition work was carried out to pave the way for a brand-new apartment complex, designed to offer stunning views over the lush fairways of the golf course. The project held a special place within our company, carrying personal significance for our director, who had celebrated his wedding reception in the very function rooms we were tasked to bring down. This element added a unique, bittersweet layer to the job.
The demolition scope involved the complete removal of the Pacific Golf Club's long-standing clubhouse and function centre.
This included the safe disconnection of all services, systematic deconstruction of structural components, and the careful separation of materials for recycling and disposal in accordance with environmental standards.
Our team worked closely with club management, developers, and site management to ensure minimal disruption to club operations and the surrounding community. Once the structures were removed, the site was efficiently cleared and prepared for construction to begin on the new residential development.
